We kind of happened upon this little gem by chance our first night in New Braunfels.   My first experience with German food was not that good, but the whole experience at the Alpine Haus was superb!  We loved the fried Bree appetizer! I would totally recommend this place!

Love how quaint Alpine Haus is! The food was a little on the pricey side (~$20 per plate), but it was fresh, homemade and you get a ton of food. I had the veal jager schnitzel and it was delicious!
